For CPAs, Estate Attorneys, Lenders & Real Estate Professionals

For Professional Partners

Your tax and legal expertise is the specialized software. We provide the coordinated financial-planning hardware that puts your work into motion — we plan around your expertise, we don't replace it.

Why we work this way

Most planning ideas surface in your office first

A tax return reveals a concentrated position that should be diversified. An estate plan raises a liquidity question nobody has answered. A 1031 deadline appears on a closing statement with no replacement property identified. You see these moments clearly. What you often lack is someone in the room who is licensed to act on them before the window closes.

Fountainhead Wealth Advisors is an independent fiduciary wealth advisory practice based in Solomons, Maryland. We work alongside CPAs, estate attorneys, lenders, and real estate professionals on shared clients.

How coordination works

Hardware and software, working together

01

Coordinated, not competing

Our model goes beyond sending a referral and hoping the pieces align later. We bring the right specialists into the conversation at the beginning of an engagement, not after a decision has already been made without full information. When we work a shared client together, you keep your role as the client's tax or legal authority. We handle the planning and execution layer that sits alongside it, so the client gets one coordinated plan instead of three disconnected opinions.

02

Execution for the ideas your clients can't act on

We operate through three separately regulated entities — an independent registered investment adviser, a securities and private-placement affiliation through Emerson Equity LLC (member FINRA, SIPC), and an insurance agency — and we carry no proprietary products of our own. That structure lets us execute on the ideas that often come up in your own client conversations but go nowhere because nobody in the room is licensed to act: a 1031 exchange against a hard deadline, an opportunity zone allocation, a private real estate placement, an insured income strategy for a retiring client. You raise the idea. We can help build and execute the plan around it.

03

Modular engagement

A shared client does not need to restructure their entire advisory relationship to work with us. We can be engaged for one specific need — a 1031 deadline, a business sale, a second opinion on a portfolio someone else manages — without disrupting the client's existing CPA or attorney relationship. Many of our best working relationships with other professionals start this narrowly and grow from there, at whatever pace makes sense for the client.
