Tax-Forward Planning

Most financial plans start with assumptions. Ours start with your actual tax return.

Tax-forward planning means we build your financial plan around the documents that already describe your real situation: your filed tax return, your estate documents, your account statements. We look at what is actually there before we talk about what could change. Decisions about savings, investments, and distributions get made with your real tax picture in view, not a generic template.

This does not mean we do your taxes or draft your estate documents. It means we coordinate directly with the CPA and attorney you already work with, so your financial plan, your tax filing, and your estate plan are working from the same information instead of three separate conversations that never quite line up.

Think of it as hardware and software. We provide the coordinated financial planning infrastructure and process — the hardware that connects the pieces and keeps them moving together. Your CPA and your attorney remain the specialized software, the tax and legal expertise that only they are qualified to provide. We do not replace either one. We give them a planning partner who brings their guidance into the process at the beginning, not after decisions are already made.

If you do not have a CPA or attorney in place, we can help you find one. If you already do, we are glad to work alongside them.

Fountainhead Wealth Advisors does not provide tax or legal advice. Nothing here should be relied upon for tax or legal decisions. Please consult your own CPA or attorney regarding your specific tax and legal circumstances.
