Where Your Money Lives
Private.
Real estate, replacement property, land, energy, and other alternatives, for investors who qualify.
It happens more often than most people expect. A 1031 exchange deadline comes up in a conversation with a CPA. An opportunity zone strategy gets mentioned while reviewing an estate plan with an attorney. Someone raises private credit or a land position as a way to diversify beyond public markets. The idea has merit. Then the conversation ends, because nobody in the room is licensed to actually execute it.
We built our practice to close that gap. Through Emerson Equity LLC, member FINRA/SIPC, we provide access to a range of private and alternative investment categories, including private real estate, 1031 exchanges, opportunity zones, private credit, energy, and land. These offerings are made available by private placement memorandum only, to investors who meet applicable accreditation and suitability requirements.
This is not a shelf of proprietary products. It is a structural capability: the ability to take a strategy that surfaces naturally in a tax or estate planning discussion and carry it through to execution, working alongside the CPA or attorney who raised it rather than replacing them. Private and alternative investments involve significant risk, including illiquidity and the possible loss of principal, and they are not appropriate for every investor or every portion of a portfolio. We evaluate fit case by case, based on an individual's full financial picture, before any specific opportunity is discussed in detail.
If a 1031 timeline, an opportunity zone question, or a private allocation has come up in a planning conversation and stalled for lack of a path forward, that is exactly the kind of conversation we're set up to have.
